I have a couple of questions on the above..

First, where can I download the stock .bin for a '93 vette LT-1 / six-speed and what is the 4 letter file name for it?

Will VE master work on this .bin for get a head start on tweaking VE?

I have tunercat and the $DA2 def. file to view the .bin, but I having trouble locating a stock .bin

Will datamaster 8D be compatible to scan the car, beings they are both ODB1?

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!

I have the $DA3 93 LT1 Camaro bin. If the ANHT vs AUJP L98 comparison holds into LT1 land, then my guess is that the Corvette has a more aggressive timing map, but not much else is different.

 

I only have the def. file for 92-93 corvette ($DA2), so I'm not sure if the F-body Lt-1 .bin will work?

Still need the .bin name for the vette .bin and where to find it. Anyone?

Is the BAFL .bin the same as the 93 vette .bin? Just wondering if there was a different .bin for 93?

if there was a difference in the BIN, the BCC would be different as well. there are exceptions to this, but they are few and far between.

 

Is the one you sent bone stock or modded?

 

should be a stocker... if not, i didn't change it.

What's the difference between the 93 F-body $DA3 and 93 Vette $DA2 ?

Will either .bins work with either ECM's?

 

i'm no expert when it comes to the DA masks, but from what i remember:

DA2 is the 92-93 vette LT1 mask
DA3 is the 93 F-body LT1 mask

there are slight differences in them, but they MAY be able to be run on the same ECM, not sure about that.

Saar sent me BAFL. It matched the PROM code on the PROM in the factory 93 vette's ECM (LT-1 / six-speed). Will be working on the car this weekend, will let you guys know how it goes. It's a modded 355 LT-1, ported heads, cc306 cam, 30# injectors, headers etc...

Should be fun!

I am getting ready to do some programing on my '93 Ruby and was looking for a stock for the Lt1 SIX SPEED BAFL memcal. I just got the Moates ADUL1 kit and Tunerpro RT software. I did a search and found your post. Thanks for any of your help. My goal is to boost my mileage, so if you got some info on what changes I should make that would be appreciated too.

You could use VEmaster to help out your gas mileage from 0 -3000 rpms. Do a couple of searches on VEmaster, there are some good threads on howto use it.
