Can TunerproRT use tunercat files?

I'm trying to modify and LT1 PROM for a friend of mine; it appears that the only place to get 93 LT1 files is from tunercat. Does anybody have experience/knowledge as to whether I can use my Tunerpro RT to modify the tunercat bins?

thanks

No. Both the ecu and tdf file formats are different.

A .bin is a .bin, it's just a bunch of ones and zeros. The interface files are what's different, they tell the program what each one and each zero means. You need the right .ecu file for the LT1 computer if you want to edit with TunerPro.

oh, duh... Didnt see that it was a bin and not a calibration file. Yeah, so long as the ecu file you ahve has all the addresses correct itll work.

Actually, it looks like the "poster" may be confused on what bin, tdf and ecu files are. To my knowledge, TunerCat does not supply bins, but TDFs. So if he meant "tdf", your original answer was correct and no "duh" is required.

well, I worded that poorly...

thanks guys.
Since the only option I can seem to find for modifying the LT1 BIN is from Tunercat; what I really wanted to know was whether I could use my TunerproRT with the Tunercat software.
From the first answer it seems the Editors are different and the Definition files are different....and so much for that.

AFAIK, there are LT1 ecu files out there. I've seen DA3 and EE (and EEA).
