Transmission: built 700r4

prom questions
I know i am new to this forum but have used it as referance for a while now, and still cant figure out what i need to know. So here goes. I need a factory prom for an 88 iroc z 5.7 w/ 2.77 gears i know the # is 16075399(gm) and bc is 5400abya. But where to find searched everywhere car parts.com this forum e bay but all are for the 5.0 305. still have iorn heads so no vette. Please help this is my 1st 3rd gen. always been a diesel nut.(still am) but always loved 3rd gens. Just bought this one w 44000 miles on it. and it is completely unmolested except for the ads super chip in the ecu. and im sorry for the new thread and if im in the wrong place but plz help Thanks alot

In actuality, the ADS super chip probably isn't that far off from stock anyway. If it's anything like the hypertechs (I've seen those calibrations), IIRC it's stock except from some mods to WOT fuel and spark values. Maybe the fan temps have been lowered too. But not much else.
Nonetheless, what you can do is get a chip adapter and an EPROM from moates.net.

Find someone on this board who has that ABYA calibration and access to tuning equipment and send him the chip, he can burn it and then send it back to you. You can then plug the new EPROM into the chip adapter and then the ADS chip into the chip adapter. The ADS chip will get overriden by the factory cal on the new EPROM.
Either that or you can buy the tuning equipment if you're intent on learning to do your custom tuning, and burn your own ABYA chip.
Unfortunately I don't have the ABYA cal otherwise I could do this for you.
