8625 swap help

To start - I have a stock lo3 with 60lb injectors. Next weekend I will be swapping out my 187 heads for a ported set of 081's and a 95 f-body lt1 cam.

I guess my question is; can anyone recommend a prom that matches the planned setup I'm going to be installing on my engine? (just need the fuel and timing tables to start with) A modified bin would work too...

I'm running an 8625 (7427) ecm with a 700r4.

Another question, does this pcm have a tach output pin?

I have a calibration that should get you running pretty well...It is $0D code that is a drop-in on the 8625 though.

The tach signal comes straight from the ignition coil so not sure why you would need a tach output pin.

Check out my guide that is stickied in the TBI forum for all the details you need.

I have all the confidence in the world that if you get this wired up correctly and have properly functioning sensors it will fire that 305 with 081s and LT1 cam right up and stay running. I would start with BHMC which is one of the latest $0D 305 calibrations. I will put it this way even, I took my TPI swapped 383 and ran it on an almost completely stock BJYN calibration today (just wanted to know what would happen) and the PCM was able to keep my tpi fed vortec head, 208/214 cammed 383 running quite well. I bet it would run well enough to actually drive the way it sits. Still needs ALOT of tuning when I get the 4L60E in it tomorrow, but oh well thats the fun part.

Re: 8625 swap help

Another question or two for you Fast355. How far off will the fueling and timing tables be? Just to double check I can get these from moates.net site right?

I also have a performer rpm 3701 intake manifold I would like to use, is this better then the tbi manifold?

What should I expect hp wise out of this setup (do you have desktop dyno)?

(Edit)
BTW, The computer is already running the lo3 and has been for almost a year.
