AutoXray 6000 Scanner Tool and '7727 8D?

I've setup a 7727 with a AUJP $8D Memcal and a Moates memory adapter. When I try to use my AutoXray Scanner configured for the Corvette (4 digit vin code Y) I get error message vehicle not recognized. The AutoXray Scanner works fine when I configure for F-Body ( 4 digit vin code F). Is there something in the "Y" body memcals that the AutoXray 6000 is looking for?

Most likely the BCM chatter that the f-body's don't have.

I don't know what BCM chatter is ... but now that I've tried the ANHT BBC in my 7727, the BCM chatter is likely the cause I am unable to use the VIN Y configuration in my AutoXray.

Anyway the 7727 is working on my test bench using VIN F in my AutoXray.

Would I like to scan the 7727 using VIN Y "Yes" ... Do I really need to have my 7727 set up to scan using VIN Y "No"
