Did I fry my ECM?
Project car is sitting in the driveway, not entirely sealed up. It ran decently well, bit hard starting but with a bit of throttle, no problem. I pulled the ECM out because I just got an AutoPROM, when I did, water came out...
Took it apart and the circuit board seemed dry so I proceeded with desoldering the chip from the memcal and installing Moates' ZIF adapter. Put it back in the car, now she doesn't want to run at all. I've tried putting the stock chip back in and no difference. It feels like limp mode, but didn't run the greatest before so barely works now. Fan is on all the time, SES light is on all the time, I don't get any data from the ALDL connection (although it says it's connected) and emulating a chip or even taking it out completely doesn't make a difference, however if I remove the limp chips it won't start at all. Is this a pretty good indication that I might need a new ECM?

Doesn't sound good. Are you sure you have everything in in the right direction? I once installed a chip backwards and it acted exactly what you are describing. I turned the chip around the right way and all was fine.

Re: Did I fry my ECM?
Tried the chip both ways, didn't make a difference.
[Edit - Solved]
It was a bad ECM. I found one at a wrecker, think it was out of an S10, but had the same part number on it. Swapped the memcal over and she worked.
