SA is adjusting itself
Alright, for those of you that have followed my previous threads.
Got my LM-1 back from Innovate. I'm not reinstalling that just yet though. I had a problem where the controller, Analog 1 and Analog 2 were not reading the same WB number. Supposedly the controller is now fixed but I'm leaving it out of the equation at this point.
1) Seems that the BLM learns aren't doing a thing for me. Each time I do one the car gets worse at idle and idle while in gear. I have one .bin that is my base and the car runs ok. So I usually have to revert back to that one after do my VE learns. In short I have to just manually have to make my changes.
Now your up to date, heres my question
My idle and idle w/in gear my Kpa will run 50 or 60
At an RPM of 600-800 my .bin is set for SA of 20.04
What would cause the datalog in one area to read the correct SA then a couple of min's later in the same datalog my SA drop to 17 or 18.
I've assumed that if the cell reads one number then it should be consistant right?
I've confirmed each time it is in C/L and all other readings are running the same when compared. I feel some of my surging is coming from this.

Re: SA is adjusting itself
Idle stabilization SA, and/or coolant SA compensation, and/or after start SA.
Idle stabilization SA is used to stabilize the idle speed. If the idle RPM is high, SA is decreased, idle low, SA increased. Idle high and IAC at 0, SA is decreased and held lower.
Coolant SA compensation. Changes the SA according to the engine temperature.
After start SA. This is SA that is added once the engine is running (from cranking). And decays out quickly. By quickly: 15 seconds on a warm engine, and 2 minutes on a cold engine.
