4800+ BLM logging
I run WinALDL to do my logging. I was tuning off cheap OEM narrowband sensor for my basic tune. I got that down pretty good and picked up an LC-1 and am running the narrowband input into the ECM. My original tune was really close... averaging lean within +-1 of 128. My problem is update intervals which is slow since I'm running the 8746. I took the car out on the interstate to log some upper RPM BLM cells but they would not fill in. I tried to hold around 4k to 5k for at least 10-20 seconds, but no cells would fill in to give me an idea of what I'm running.
I'm working on getting the LC-1 software to work, but have not had much luck yet. Is there something I've missed or do the BLMs not fill in above 4k rpm?
I don't get any lean pop like I did when I first started tuning, but I don't want to be throwing overly excesive fuel at it if I don't need to be. I have an O2 guage I'm going to install that may get me close so I can just compare what cell it's in to general range the guage is showing and tune to keep me close to 14.7 range and a little below.
I'm thinking it's time to update to the ~'95 truck ECM that was the rave quite a few years ago.
If anyone can give some words of wisdom I'd apriciate it, otherwise I'm going to continue searching/reading and trial/error.

Make sure that you are not ending up in PE mode. The other item is the max RPM limit:
LD231: FCB 240 ; 6000 rpm, max rpm for BLM learn
It may be set lower then what is shown there.
If you are light enough on the throttle at high RPM this threshold may be an issue:
LD22F: FCB 20 ; 26 Kpa, min s/d map thres for BLM learn
RBob.

Re: 4800+ BLM logging
When I attempted higher rpm VE logging I recall I had to set the % threshold to enter PE to a much higher value so as to not see PE. Downside is engine does like stoich for extended period of time at high loads/rpm. A flag in log should show when in PE right?

Re: 4800+ BLM logging
On one screenshot I found, there is a flag for PE ready. I suppose I'll need to fire up my dinosaur and see if it has one for the 8746. Somehow I seem to have forgotten about PE. I've been pulled away from this thing so many times I'm starting to forget and may need to start over again.
I'll see if adjusting those constraints will allow me to see BLMs higher up.
