can seem to program my lt1 sugestions
hey guys i have a LT1 from a 95 corvette and im trying to program out the vats i have two aldl cables i have a two wire bare pin conector from obd diagnostics and a obd 1 formed cable also from obd diagnostics every one in the engine swap forms said the pcm is obd 1 but iv tried conecting to the serial data and a ground and tuner cat can not read. can any one help am i using the right software wiring this this was no problem but this part makes me was a carb

Hi Devin,
Be real careful with that PCM, they have a tendency to become doorstops during the reflash if the battery voltage on the vehicle dips or the PC gets too busy with antivirus etc. Reading shouldn't be a risk though.
Not trying to scare you, but use a trickle charger or something during the process as a precaution.
If your PCM has a # ending in 8051 you should be good. Although, I've seen where some reman units (like AutoZone etc) just don't want to talk for some reason.
You get all your USB Serial Port stuff set up correctly in terms of COM port? That all needs to match up.
If this is a 2-transistor-type cable, I wouldn't be too sure on the read/write of the 94/5 LT1.
Have you tried datalogging with TPRT5 or TTS Datamaster? That'd be a good test to see if you can establish communications.

ok i have software and a cable that i know works i tryed it on my corvette. but when i try to read my lt1 there is no signal i checked for current i have 4.98 volts all the way to the aldl port and my ground in the port is good but still when i run a hypertermanal test nothing happens no code goes on the screen. does this mean my computer is bad. i also looked at the computer and it is delco so im sure it is stock
