Linux/Ubuntu TunerPro RT

It appears that TunerPro RT installs and opens in Ubuntu 10.10.
So far so good.
Waiting for my pile of Moates-ware to arrive to test further.

Re: Linux/Ubuntu TunerPro RT

Have you tried clicking on the ALDL comms without a cable attached to see if it can initialize a port?

Re: Linux/Ubuntu TunerPro RT

I did not. Dont know what the 'aldl comms' is.
The button with the cable/plug?
I clicked it, and it said "Hardware not found". Which is correct. I have nothing hooked up to it currently.

Re: Linux/Ubuntu TunerPro RT

Try connecting to the ALDL and see what it says for the port init. You tried connecting to an emulator by the sounds of it.

Re: Linux/Ubuntu TunerPro RT

I think you misundertood. I havent connected anything to the computer yet. Im first testing TP.RT to see if it installs and even opens in Ubuntu. It appears to open and be intact. Now im just waiting on my Moates-ware to arrive to actually hook up to the ecm, and see if TP.RT actually fully functions in Ubuntu.

Re: Linux/Ubuntu TunerPro RT

there was a thread in the TP forums about how to use WINE with tunerpro, IIRC, it had no communications issues...
