I'm working on swapping to a 730 ecm in my IROC and plugged the Ostrich Ribbon cable into the chip I have(I have a Hypertech chip that I removed their Prom from and just plugged the ribbon cable into the old socket).

The problem, the ribbon cable is crammed up hard against the edge of the ECM housing. Anyone else have this problem? I double checked the red stripe and its oriented right. Maybe just get a really thick ZIF socket to space it up outside the ECM?
