40 PSI Fuel Pressure on TBI?
Hey guys, If my math is right looks like I need to run bigger injectors. Having a hard time finding any. I seem to be running out of fuel in the middle to high AE tables. Is there anyone running 40PSI on a TBI setup? Obviously I'll be buying a new pump, regulator, all new lines. My real question is, will the injectors still operate correctly and reliably at that pressure? My engine is a 350+.030. Flat top pistons, Decked, Intake, Headers, Dual Exhaust, RV Cam. Looking for max HP of about 350. Right now I'm using stock TBI Truck injectors. Does it seem reasonable I need that much pressure?
Thanks in advance for any information!

I use a little extra pressure.
Has worked out well for me.
GM used up to 32psi on the system, I've pushed it to 65.
Being able to custom tune is essential.

Thanks for the reply xch3no2. Are you saying you currently run 65psi all the time? or you've tried 65psi in the past? Thats a lot of pressure! No injector failures? I just bought EBL, I've been fighting the 160baud stock computer for tuning with a NB. Lets just say after a year and a half and my aldl cable failed... I was ready to spend the money on EBL... So Ive got the tuning down, Now just starting from scratch with EBL. Im trying to get my fuel supply right first though.
Thanks! If your running 65 I wont worry about 45 haha. What kind of pump and reg. are you using?

Pump,

Regulator.

Pressure sender,

Today's pressure is 54psi. I've been over 50psi for a year, no injector failures.
A smaller fuel pump had me pushing pressure over 60 trying to keep up, it could not & got replaced.
