Bad MAF?

I know some might not agree that this post belongs here, but I put it here because I think I will get the fastest and most accurate response from the tuners, so here goes.

Checking with WinALDL, the MAF sensor is reporting around 7g/s with the engine turned OFF. Is this correct? How can the MAF be seeing airflow when there is none?

The ECM may be using the minimum airflow value from the calibration.

Please explain. I haven't gotten into tuning yet and I'm not sure what this means.
