30lb injectors

I have 30lb injectors in a holley stealth ram. If I set the injector flow rate at 30lb/hr it runs rich all the time. Anyone know why this is?

Re: 30lb injectors

I'm just getting into tuning, so im learning as i go, i know i have to adjust my maf tables and a bunch of other stuff but just wondering what i should set the injector flow rate at before i adjust everything else, it seems to run the best if i set them at 23lbs/hr and leave everything else alone except for changing the idle speed and fans and stuff like that. the engine has a comp 305h cam so i know theres alot of stuff gonna have to work on but im just trying to figure of the baseline stuff and play with it from there. Also, do I have to change any other settings to compensate for the injectors? Thanks for any advise.

Re: 30lb injectors

oh yeah, im new to this board, so here's info about my car, 87 iroc 355, holley stealth ram, 350 turbo, used to have tune port with edlebrock lower, slp runners, ported upper. blew that motor up on nitrous so i built this one looking for more high rpm horses, all motor right now but when i get the tuning right i plan on sprayin it.
