V6 Memcal mod to run in V8.
So I have some spare V6 Memcals for 7730 ECM's laying around and I wondered if I could use them. SO I yanked out the factory chip and Soldered in a new AT29C256 and loaded it up with my bin. The car starts and runs fine except I get a Code 41 Cylinder Select Error.
Can I modify this Memcal to work? I just want to modify a memcal to work with my Autoprom. I've done a search where it talks about tying pins together but no detailed descriptions or pictures. I'm not sure which pins these are. It looks like if I am reading it right the pins are numbered 1-66 and go up and down while going across. So the pins to jumper are on the little blue ones under the ESC board?
Thanks

Tie MEMCAL pin 56 to ground. This sets the injector firing rate. Yes to the MEMCAL pin numbering. 1-2 across, then next row for 3-4 and so on until you hit the other end of the MEMCAL.
