Accel Enrich problems
I'm having acceleration enrichment problems. Looking at my 7 Accel Enrich tables, I'm not sure which one of these tables must be changed to stop my engine from bogging when cold, this goes all the way up to about 145° water temp. When the engine is fully warmed up, the problem is gone.
When cold, I accelerate without pushing my engine too much, max 3000 rpm. When getting off the gas, then a moment later I accelerate gently, the engine bogs.
If anyone can tell me which of the 7 tables I should change, I would be very grateful.
Accel Enrich vs. Differential TPS
Accel Enrich vs. Coolant Temp.
Accel Enrich vs. Delta TPS Factor vs. Async Pulse
Accel Enrich Delta MAP PW Multiplier vs. Delta MAP
Accel Enrich vs. Delta MAP PW Multiplier vs. Coolant Temp.
Accel Enrich vs. Delta MAP PW Decay Factor vs. Coolant Temp.
Accel Enrich vs. Delta MAP Enable Threshold vs. TPS
I’m using ECM DA2 from TC on my 1992 LT1 Vette.

Re: Accel Enrich problems
I think I adjusted the idle counts on my 91 l98 vette. i am leaving the accell enrich stuff alone for the moment as it doesn't seem to bog or anything when I give it gas...
it took me 3 or 4 test runs to get the idle correct.

It's not the idle which isn't set right, it's that the engine bogs >2000 rpm when cold.
I guess with an a4 you wouldn't notice it as much as one does with a 6 sp. gearbox.

Re: Accel Enrich problems
maybe then accell enrich vs coolant temp or there should be a table that isn't accell enrich, but it is measured out for air temperature.

Re: Accel Enrich problems
You should first watch if you're in closed loop - it might be that the INTegrator is tanking when lifting throttle, due to not enough decel enlean. Then, when getting back into the throttle, the INTG has to climb back up, being lean that whole time until it catches up.
It might also be going to DFCO, and not having enough enrichment when leaving DFCO.
If it's just consistently lean from closed throttle, and not from any previous INTG dropping problem, just increase Accel Enrich vs. Delta MAP PW Multiplier vs. Coolant Temp at the problem temperatures and see how it goes.

Re: Accel Enrich problems
First of all, thanks to all for taking time and trying to help me.
I should have mentioned before, I only run open loop, because of the cam and it was just too difficult getting the engine to run below 2000 rpm, sometimes even up to 2400 rpm. In OL it idles fairly well at about 1000 rpm. I have a o2 WB running all the time, so I can see what's up. I set the AFR from idle to about 2500 rpm at 13.4-13.8 until the engine is at about 180°.
I'll try to change the table you suggested and see what happens.
The values are:
46° 0.281
90° 0.250
133° 0.141
176° 0.090
How much would you suggest I change the values???
