NVSRAM upload and an SES but bin is loading
Hello all, I have a question and hope someone can help me out, so installed my new NVSRAM module, it up loads and downloads my bins with no problems but when I try it with the car running I get an SES light and the cars goes into limp, if I shut the car off and wait 10sec ther restart the SES turns off the the bin is loaded, I know it's loaded cause I tried stuff like changing idle, say from 700rpm to 1000rpm.
Now I know you have to change the source code for the module to work but I'm just not that good yet, could this be a problem with the bin? I used JP86SS's nvsram 1026b bin and just copyed all my setting over, the car runs just fine. Also one other thing to note is I'm using Monteslowcar's GUI and made the tool in TPv5 (works great by the way).
Anyways if anyone can help I would really appreciate it, thank you.

Normal behaviour and I don't think it is limp mode, but I never confirmed that for myself. I personally don't upload stuff while it is running...
There might be some value is slowing down the rate of the upload within the GUI tool, if you like, give the attached version of the GUI tool a try and let me know if it still does it. This version adds a 10ms delay between ALDL commands during the upload.

Wow Montecarslow, for some reason I did not think you where still on the boards, guess I should have looked you up and sent a pm, anyways thanks I'll give this a try, not that having to cycle the ignition is a big deal, the thing thats killing me right now is that my battery went bad on my laptop so everytime I cycle lap shuts off then I have to reboot.
By the way thanks for all your hard work to you and everyone else that made the posible, this thing is the fantastic, I'm so in love with this right, If I only knew about this two years ago, would have made my life a lot easier.
Now all I need to do is start to learn how to mod the source code so I can use this extra space, shouldn't take more then 7-10 years lol!
