5.0 vs 5.7 MEMCAL

I recently bought a 89 GTA that someone has put a differant ECM in without changing the MEMCAL, apparently it was out of 89 S-10 2.5. I have found a MEMCAL for an 89 5.0, so I know the EPROM is wrong, but I do have a EPROM on a moates adapter ready to go, but before I buy the 305 chip, I was wondering if the CALPAK portion of it would work on my 350. Thanks

since the knock filter is external to these ECMs, i would think it will be fine unless you get thrown into limp-home mode.

The netress and the i/0 buffer are the same so Its just a matter of using the correct .bin in 89 the limp home mode netress war altered but even a 86-88 tpi maf memcal will work with the correct .bin
