low down on timing

I've been reading up on timing tables, and as usual, I have more questions than answers. I'm using the ebl on a tbi setup. I have set up many old school distributors in the past, and I know the basics of what an engine wants under different conditions.
Can someone explain what all the different table do in tuner pro? Is it true that I am about -20 deg. than what my sa table is showing? and what about egr?
If someone could give me the basic run down, I could hopefully take it from there. Thanks.

Re: low down on timing

I have read that and understand it for the most part, Thank you! I'm using the v31xdf, and the coolant comp table ranges from around 15 down to around 3 when hot. Do I add this when looking at the main sa table?

Re: low down on timing

Both the coolant SA compensation and the CTS/IAT SA compensation tables have a bias value. So the values in those tables get added to the SA while the bias for them is subtracted out.

The WUD SA displayed value is the at-crank timing.

RBob.
