prom mask

Is there a way to find out what prom mask an unknown calpak has?? I have 2, 1 is supposedly from an 86 and 1 is from a weatherpack corvette eCY, speed density. When I read the bin the data is all jibberish with the xdf's I have. Is there a way to figure out what I need?? These are aftermarket calpaks, no broadcast codes on them.

Re: prom mask

you might need to do another read and check your offsets, the $8D would be on a 27c256 no too likely its on a 512, the other one if tpi maf read as a 27c128.

Re: prom mask

I figured out the weatherpack one has a 1990 SD 5.7 Camaro bin in it. It opened correctly after trying several xdfs.

$32 doesn't display the other one correctly.

Re: prom mask

No, one is TPIS and the other came w/ a Street&Performance Multiport.

Figured out the other one, it's a 6E, not a 86 ECM at all, it's 89 5.7. Excellent, I will be able to use that in my 88 as a starting point for my new build. It's for a 350 w/ a miniram and TFS heads. Probably for a TPIS roller cam too, 30# inejctors, manual. I have all those & a new retrofit T56 .. except a nice cam.. will be a good starting point.
