What would happen if.....
After my 305 to 350 tpi swap it has become impossible to find a chip that is a 350 with manual Trans. (I know that's because they never made them like that from the factory) but my question is, what would happen if I just put a 350 w/ auto trans chip in my car? Would I get any ses codes? Drivability issues? Performance problems? Any insight from experienced turners would be appreciated as this aspect of my car is very foreign to me.

If this is your '88, and you also changed to 22#/hr injectors, it will work. Start up may not be the best as there are weight differences between a torque convertor and a flywheel/clutch. Be sure not to use a '89 chip as it has VATs.
If you still have the 19#/hr injectors, then use the 305 chip.
