Does ecm stay in PE closed loop after 6375 rpm or go into open loop? $8D 730
Just trying to get a grasp on how the ecm is calculating fuel after 6375 rpm? Does it use last % PE vs RPM in table or go into open loop vs MAP?
Thanks
Thanks

PE/WOT mode is open loop, or more correctly a pseudo open loop mode. The INT is locked at 128 and BLM learn is disabled.
Unless the ECM thinks that the TPS is bad, it can then drop out of PE mode.

For my old 6e based 383 the pe vs rpm table goes to 6400 and that last entry is held past that rpm. I controlled fuel to 7k just fine however fuel demand after 6400 was slowly declining as i peaked around 6250 in power and held that to 6500 before it was slowly falling off
My 730 ecm code 59 car holds last value in ve tables til redline. 6400 rpm is last entry.
