Needham 10 burn on $32B chip
First time burning new cal for a friend on his Callaway Corvette TT. Using the stock memcal, and am able to erase. Looking at the chip itself, I can't tell who the manufacturer is, so I amusing a generic chip and 128k which seems to have the correct offset for this 16k bin, 00000- 3FFFF. However, when I go to burn, I get an immediate error at address 0000(Prom ID). The buffer and device values are different. Any hints or tips?

27c128 to a sst27sf512 chip start 00C000 -> 00FFFF
are you sure about the setting for that 27c128 if you have some 27c256 I would just use one of those instead.

Here’s the numbers on the chip
0147 5DBB
40581
AA8631B
That’s it. Looking thru the catalog of chips in the Needham program, I don’t see anything like this. Any clues are welcome.

You can thank acdelco for not marking all there eprom. That is a 16040581 witch is a 27c128K you may have luck reprograming it with a 27128 setting. They used a grab bag of uv eprom on the tpi maf most are 27c256 programed in the upper half.
