Well I have an 88 iroc auto lb9 all stock needs restore. Engine is getting worked on now. Simple clean. All new fuel system (tank, pump, injectors) swapped tranny radiator plugs wire. and it has no cat plus cat back I will do headers.
I pulled the trigger on a tuner and bought the moates 3-1 APU1, plus the hdr module and g1 header. I assume this is all I need to get started ( I Hope)
So I can read the stock bin from the HDR, install the g1 header, tune real time with the APU1 or datalog offline and tune, then burn a new chip when done and install it into the G1 header when complete?
Then are the chips re writable?

Oh I also will be ordering a Wideband. Either Innovate or 14point7.com
Does the APU1 allow feedback from the wideband to be datalogged into the APU1?

Yes I will ask their. More importantly I wanted to make sure I spent $300 on the right setup for my 88. It appears so just double checking. The wideband will datalog by itself or on a laptop standalone anyway so I am all good. But I rather have it in one table if possible. Cleaner way to tune and compare A/F directly against RPM and other parameters.
