low power at higher rpms

OK To start here i am running a 165 maf system. I have a 350 with a xe268 cam shaft, 906 vortec heads, sdpc lower intake, and a custom made upper intake that makes the runners quite a bit shorter. When driving around normal it feels like it has lots of power, it will break tires loose easy ect. but under full throttle it doesnt seem to make the power it should. went to the drag strip and the best i coul run was 15. 3 in the 1/4 mile. should be better then that. timing is set to 6 with bypass unplugged fuel pressure is at 40 psi. running apyp bin with injector size changed to match injectors 24# . DO i just need to tune this thing or do you think something else is wrong. I figured the maf would compensate for the better breathing of the engine. Not enjoying being left behind by stock 5.0 mustangs hahah
