I tuned my car this morning after running rich and idle high then surge stall I got it much improved.

The hvac vac lines were off the plenum. So I plugged and hooked up vac gauge.

21" solid at idle. I tuned TPS and checked timing although could see the mark maybe too afr off. But the VMM and the Moates both read the same so good test.

So Moates question: and after base timing check. I am thinking maybe knocking or sensor is pulling timing also maybe o2? I have no CEL or errors in Moates

But with my datalog I am not seeing where to look to evaluate if the timing is pulling out too much or if o2 seems to be off or if fans are coming on or egr is? Just some little direction on how to look at Moates and evaluate if tune is off/or if matching OEM program? Any links to search or videos?

 

What do you mean by "Where to look at Moates"?

Moates supplies hardware, what software are you using?

What vehicle is this on?
