8625 $E6 Fuel Table Question

16168625 $E6 355 TBI.
In C.A.T.S. Tuner there are 2 mail fuel tables RPM Vs. MAP Closed Throttle and RPM Vs. MAP Open Throttle. I've been out of it for a while and did some datalogging today and noticed that I'm rich around light cruise but i'm confused which tables to adjust. A while back I roughed everything in so it ran decent but it still needs some work. I guess my confusion is I don't fully understand how each of the tables work or when each of the tables takes effect so I can correct the problem.

The engine Idles at around 60 map.

I ran through the histogram and found the following where I'm rich:
1200rpm 50map 107.2
1200rpm 60map 110.5
1200rpm 70map 115.6
1200rpm 80map 115.1

1600rpm 50map 117.4
1600rpm 60map 116.1
1600rpm 70map 116.0
1600rpm 88map 111.0

2000rpm 60map 112.0
2000rpm 70map 118.1
2000rpm 80map 118.5

2400rpm 80map 118.0

Re: 8625 $E6 Fuel Table Question

Byte 23 in the aldl data stream is a status flag. If bit 3 is set then the open throttle VE table is being used.

RBob.

RBob, Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure in datamaster where I'd find that but I will take a look and see what I can find.

I have no idea if this is it or not... I found one under "Engine Status Bits" in Datamaster titled "MW1". On status bit 3 it's titled "Open TPS VE flag, 1=Open. Is this the status bit indicating that the open throttle ve table is being used?
