Looking for help mapping difference in GM Players Motorsport Race PROM over Stock

HI,

Well it's taken me a few years, but I have an orginal 1992 R7U GM Players "race" prom. It's an unused 1992 one.

I've pulled the data off it and started to compare it to other BIN's I have ... but there is a bunch of data in the PROM that isn't in one's I'm comparing it to.

Ideally, I want to map out what GM did to make their race chip. And maybe it can provide some insight into DIY burners.

Thus far, I looked at the spark tables. Subtle changes. GM was concerned with keeping the engines working for the entire race season ... engine failures were not common.

So who's up for a challenge? I'd like to work with a small group of people who know the in's and outs of the stock bins to help me sort out what GM changed.

Drop me a note if you are interested.

Mark.
