Ostrich II Q's

Hi there,

I'm new to emulating so i need a bit of technical help. I do know how to mod & burn chips so no need to focus on that.
What i have are:
1. Ostrich 2 emulator
2. TunerPro RT v5
3. 1227165 ECM with replecable prom
4. RedDevilRiver ALDL USB cable http://www.reddevilriver.com/aldl.html

Now i know i need to plug ostrich one side to laptop other to ECM.
How should i configure Ostrich II so that it will do realtime?
Will my ALDL USB work for datalogging and datatracing while tuning ? If yes how should i configure it in TunerPro ?

best regards

Re: Ostrich II Q's

Logging is unchanged when using the Ostrich, compared to using EEPROMS.

In Tuner Pro RT, simply enable the hardware, by clicking on the "find emulation hardware" button. You should hear a beep, see the name of the Ostrich an firmware version displayed in a box along the bottom of the screen. Then simply click on the "enable emulation" button, start tuning.

FYI, editing values in a graph will update to the Ostrich automatically, editing directly in the table will require a manual upload. I believe one our booth of these settings can be changed.
