$8D VE tables EXT

I'm having difficulty figuring out how to make history tables for the EXT tables or the second set (1600RPM-5600RPM). This is in TunerPRO. I figure the math for the adjustments are the same as the main VE table I just need to figure out how to populate history tables first.

Re: $8D VE tables EXT

Make the history tables lower and higher by one cell than needed.
When logging data that is out of range, the top and bottom cells will still populate with out of range valves.
Using a 1400 and a 5800 (per the range you cited as an example) will obtain good data in the 1600 and 5600 cell ranges.
You can ignore the extra cells that catch all of the out of range values.

You wouldn't use this next thing for BLM type tables but for other things it is helpful to me.
if using the table for mileage or other calculated value, you could put the data through a lookup table to keep the values from going below zero or above a top threshold value. Bad/ out of range samples skew the results too much. This limits the amount.

In the ADX,
Create a new lookup table
Name the item whatever you want.
Use 0=0 and x = xx for the upper value.

Go back to "Values" and select the data item you want to apply the limit to.
In the "Conversion" Tab, check mark the "send to Lookup table" box.

Go into your history table definition and use that table output as the input to your history table.

You can also graph the bits now too (to see when PE or TCC comes on) while the other traces are active in the monitor screen without going to another screen to see it.
TP is a great tool!

Re: $8D VE tables EXT

Thanks guys I was just over thinking this its the exact same way I made the the Main VE table. I didn't realize that tunerpro made sure the labels match the real world value. It makes logical I just figured it wasn't that smart.
