so I have the cable for the cars obd plug to my laptop it has the jumper at the end and I downloaded free scan and datamaster on my laptop I plug every thing up turn the car on and I'm not seeing anything on happening on ether program.even if the jumper is it or not. I'm I missing somthing? It's a 1990 tpi
