What is capable of going wrong

I'm thinking of going into prom burning soon. Probably going to start reading all the posts made so I can get some idea.

If I try it... what techincally could go wrong. I assume that I could cause the engine to run very lean and burn a piston or something, but can anything else go wrong... and how easy is that to do?

Second, is there a site out there that has the majority of the things you can change in the proms? The different variables?

A lot could go wrong. That is why when you first start off, you limit your variables. Make sure the engine is already running the best it can with the hardparts it has. That means don't neglect tuneups. Then, you make only a change at a time til you get the hang of it...like change your fan on temp. Run it and verify that it changed. Simple stuff like that will teach you patience and logic for later on down the road.

www.tunercat.com has the majority of the variables that can/need to be changed for 95% of all the people out there who change their calibration. Good luck, -Matt-

Thanks... plan to read everything as well. Figured I might as well learn while the car is stock than to try and hop into it when the engine is built
