Aight so I just purchased an all original one owner 1992 RS 305 TBI, ecm is 1228746, broadcast code is AXKT. What is the newest broadcast code GM made for the 8746 ecm. My car was manufactured in April of 1992 so im not sure if the AXKT is the last of the broadcast codes or not.
What is the best route for making chips for this ecm as i have read it has issues accepting the new 512k chips even with an adapter. I'v thought about ordering factory style UV erasable chips and a uv eraser for simplicity and a direct plug and play option for an almost garranteed solution to the 512k chip issues.

 

Cal data program shows the axkt being released in 11/06/90 for a 89.
It must be a superseded tune. It does show usage for 89-92 .
The 2732a works well in the 746 ecm.
If your planning on doing much tuning you might want to look at dynamic efi ebl.

 

Not much tuning, im very fluent with the $88 on the 7730 as i had a 91 v6 which got totalled a month ago. I'm assuming my new 92 is the $61 code mask. I'm mainly wanting to tune VE and ignition timing and egr delete. Not looking to to get high HP just refine the factory tune for the larger 3inch filter and larger exhaust with no cat.

 

I just ordered some factory style chips and a uv eraser. Problem solved haha. Also here is my Factory bin file for anyone who wants or needs.
It is the AXKT 1113, not sure what the 1113 is all about, maybe revision.
