Parking lot slow crawl surge
At very low or even closed throttle TPS%, its that bucking surge you get at very slow speeds typically going thru a parking lot. It does have cams, altho they’re not radical given that its an DOHC motor, but just wondering if I can tame it a bit more. SA is flattened.

Dom,
I also get a little of bucking with my Miniramed SBC, if I crawl forward with the brakes partially applied. I've never been able to fully get rid of it, so I just live with it. I've tired richening, leaning, more timing, less timing... nothing ever seemed to help. It idles very smoothly otherwise and if I crawl forward with no brakes applied I don't get any bucking.
The only way I could get rid of it would be to raise the idle speed by ~150 rpm, but with the tight stock converter, it starts pushing against the brakes a little too much while at a stop light.
I idle very nicely at 600 rpm, so in the end I don't really mind the minor bucking that much.
I remember reading some earlier threads on the subject...

I know the ECM's are different, but there could be some nuggets in here that could help...

The LT-5 is an SD motor. What I learned tuning my Xfire is quite applicable and has been a big help.
