I need a maf in my 86 irocz so I ordered one and since I don’t need the core I took my old one apart to see what is in side. Then I saw this... see pic... why are there 2 diodes soldered into it? There are two diodes soldered in. Why??

I’m not an electric savvy guy at all but yes that’s what I meant . The two resistors soldered on. I’ve got another one taken apart and there’s nothing on the other maf sensor .? Why are the resistors there?
It's not going to be easy to explain. And ultimately it would only be speculation. Without comparison pictures to an actual original stock MAF, getting into pinouts, etc I am betting it has to do with fooling the ECU over a missing burn-off function or other circuit resistance requirements related to updated/aftermarket MAF hardware.
Thanks. I checked with a local mechanic and whe opened up another one that was junk and it’s definitely not supposed to be that way . I bet ur right about fooling some operation. I was just wondering. Thanks for taking the time to get back to me. Have a great day
