Chip orientation

I had a stroke a few years ago & am just trying to get back into tuning. I took the current chip out of my GP1 socket to read it & forgot to check it's orientation. Does the notch go toward the lever similar to the Burn 2? It's a 27F512 chip. Thanks in advance!

Re: Chip orientation

Thanks for your reply. I'm familiar with that pic from Moates' website, but I couldn't find anything written about the chip orientation. Since you didn't include a narrative, I'm guessing you're inferring the notch should go away from the lever as shown, opposite of the configuration of the Burn2. I'll give that a try, thanks again.
