AXXD modifications yields unknown results (to me).
Summary:
Installed 91 F-body 305 4 speed in my 84 Fiero. ECM is 7730 with AXXF bin file which is for the automatic trans. Same engine with 700R4 is in my hot rod. Fiero with the AXXF started right away, idled great around 750 rpm, drove good, even with a dead alternator, which is now fixed. I downloaded the proper stick shift bin file AXXD, burnt a new chip, swap it with the AXXF (auto) and started the car. Common to both chips are, VATS deleted, EGR deleted and Fan 1 enable and disable temperatures lowered.
Observations: (temp in the garage around 75*F)
With the auto bin AXXF the car started within 2 seconds of cranking and stayed running. No hunting. No rich smell.
With the stick bin AXXD the car started within 5 seconds of cranking and DID NOT stay running. Had to keep my foot on the pedal and hunted up & down. Rich smell. Did not take it for a ride due to the low rpm. Compared the TABLE: Idle Engine speed vs. Temp. of both files.
TABLE: Idle Engine speed vs. Temp (partial)
..............AXXF AXXD
Deg. C ...RPM ...RPM
104 ........600 ...700
92 ..........600 ...700
80 ..........600 ...750
68 ..........700 ...750
56 ..........700 ...775
44 ..........800 ...800
32 ..........800 ...1000
20 ........1000 ...1000
8 ..........1000 ...1000
-4 .........1000 ...1200
Based on my garage temp, the CTS sees the same engine temp and uses the AXXD table which has a higher temp setting. Should I be looking at a different table? Appreciate any help. This forum has not failed me yet.

Re:RESOLVED.... AXXD modifications yields unknown results (to me).
I decided to change the TABLE: IAC Idle Steps vs Temp by duplicating what's in the auto tranny AXXF.bin file. Worked like a charm. Starts quicker, idles on it's own right away WITHOUT hunting.
