Cold start with warm ambient temp (semi) long crank
I have noticed that my cold start is fine below ~60 degrees and warm starts are fine. Long crank (3-5 seconds) cold starts occur when ambient temps are above ~65 degrees and seems to get marginally worse as the ambient temperature rises. I'm running the Bosch III 22 lb injectors (injector constant set to 19.8) and my BLMs are good after lots of tuning. Only problem I have seems to be this "window" of warm ambient temps. I noticed the CRANK FUEL DELIVERY DELAY VS. MAT has a pretty significant jump from 0 at ~46 d to 6 at ~68 d and ~90 d before dropping back to 4 at ~111 d and then back up to 6 at ~133 d. I was going to try reducing that delay at 68 and 90 to see if it would reduce my cranking time at that ambient temperature range. Any suggestions? BTW, this is AUJP on an L31 with stock TPI.
