Need help tuning & code 41

So I've been messing around and figured out most things. (Edit its a 86 camaro 305 tpi)I'm using tunerpro rt v5 and moates basic chip tuner with aldl1. I have a 86 vette ecu 165 moates adaptor installed. I can't figure a few things out like how to ensure egr, evap is no longer present. Also I'm tripping code 41.

yeah I also read 41 can be that cylinder spark shut off idk if that's true, but if it is I had lv8 stuff in the tune I'm not sure if taking all of that out of the xdf will take it away or not. I'm going to try it tonight.

yeah that's what I was thinking I maxed out the needed parameters of turning on the eye. It is a 86 camaro tpi 305 oh I forgot that😂 Anyway it's got a canister and a solenoid I maxed its setting as well. That should make them not operate then correct?
If I take stuff out of the xdf does that completely remove it?

Re: Need help tuning & code 41

Code 41 is a cylinder select error. Is the MEMCAL that is plugged into the adapter from an 8-cylinder engine?

If so then either the MEMCAL, adapter, or ECM is bad.

RBob.

I figured it out last night. You nailed it! One of the adaptor pins for the memcal on the bottom was bent. Bent it back and no more code 41. I do have another question. Is there a way to stop egr faults? I'd like to clean the wiring and when I unplugged the egr solenoid it tripped code 32. I know I can use a resistor, but can we just tune it out?

Re: Need help tuning & code 41

There should be a flag for code 32, I don’t use $32 mask often .
