EBL Flash With Msd distributor and MSD6 wiring

Hi

Any tips on how to wire the EBL without Spark control.

Im running a Msd distributor and a MSD 6AL2 and i would like to keep that for now, but how do i get the Tacho signal in to EBL flash so it knows the engine is running?

Im guessing D4 EST but it would be nice if someone actually knew how to do it

/Orjan

EST pin D4 is an ECM output. Do not connect to anything and do not short it to anything..

BYPASS pin D5 is an ECM output. Do not connect to anything and do not short it to anything..

For a distributor reference pulse (DRP) input to the ECM...

Need to provide a 5V square wave input on ECM pin B5 (RefHi). NOTE: 5 Volts, NOT 12 Volts.

Need to provide a ground input from that device to ECM pin B3 (RefLo).

Clear the MALF 42 code flag in the BIN.

Or use the 6AL2 tach output and level shift it down to 5 volts.
