VE tables don't make sense

After numerous VE learns in closed loop it's running nicely-however the shape of my VE tables just don't make sense to me. Does this jump out as a specific problem that I'm missing? It's EBL P4.

What do your O2 thresholds look like? Assuming the EBL has those.

i know on factory 8D, they always seemed *** backwards to me.... richer at low maps and leaner at high maps.

Re: VE tables don't make sense

In EBL it's "int thresholds". I have them all 450mv with high at 500mv and low at 400mv. I've been going back over everything and it looks like the VE tables changed to this only after installing FIC 60lb injectors-I used all their specs for tables. What the heck? Previous injectors were Deka 4 60lb. and had inconsistant BLMs over time and surging which was solved by the FICs but now this. I'm back to running in circles LOL!

What does the wideband say

have you been able to hit all areas of map in a drive and get alot of data there, especially cells outside the 50-70 kpa range at higher rpm to see what its doingfor air fuel? It kinda doesnt make sense to me either, except at higher map and rpm pe enrichment may come in to mask the lack of ve in the table

Re: VE tables don't make sense

The reason I mentioned the O2 thresholds is if you raise them up a bit, it'll allow you to target a richer AFR, while still maintaining ~128 BLM with the VE table.

For example, the top picture is a factory AUJP car. For whatever reason, GM leaned out the target AFR (via O2 R/L thresholds) at higher MAPs, while being significantly richer at part throttle MAPs. Not sure why. Always seemed bass-ackwards to me.

The bottom picture is my setting... It gives a much better feel to non-PE heavy throttle (giving me about 13.5:1), as well as a more seamless transition into PE (which ends up being about 12.5:1).
