Hey folks,
Yesterday I received a Moates Ostrich 2.0 and spent last night studying how to hook it up to my 7427. This morning I went out there and plugged it in, uploaded the .bin, verified the upload and initiated the emulator and got,,,,,,,,,,,nothing! The truck fired right up so I knew the emulator was feeding information, just couldn't see what it was doing,,,,,,,,,,,,more studying! Finally figured out how to activate the trace feature and I had results for about ten seconds then the trace froze and the little box in the lower left corner of the table I was viewing said "waiting". After about 20 more sec. the trace blipped on then off again.
I'm running Tuner Pro RT v5 and Windows 10. Anybody got an idea of what I need to do to make it work, or should I say keep it working.

In the short stint that I got to work on a buddies 7427, something I noticed is once you get a CEL tprt will stop playing. Quick disconnection of the battery took care of the reset. Only other thing was with emularion, you need to disable the checksum. It may handle a few on the fly changes but all of a sudden boom CEL and no connectivity.

Not getting a CEL but I'll give disabling the checksum a whirl.

I do now! The EFI tuning scene is pretty new to me. I've dialed in carbs for years since the first time I turned the fuel mixture screw on a Briggs & Stratton. Q-jets, Motorcrafts, Carters, Holley's S&S, Solex, SU, DelOrto Mikuni, Kiehin, Tillotson etc, etc. I've flushed every fuel toilet out there damn near. My absolute favorite is the Q-jet. I'm a babe in the woods when it comes to electronically controlled fuel delivery systems. I'm really digging this emulator, almost as easy as turning a mixture screw or the distributor without leaving the passenger seat.
