ok guys, I just started this prom burning thing. what I was wondering is there is alot of things that I don't understand in WINBIN. what exactly do I need to change to take full effect of a catback exhaust, afpr and headers? also for future reference what do i change for a cam? just bump up the idle? sorry that I'm so stupid wif this!

I cannot help you with WINBIN as I use TunerCat.

But for "tuning", initially I found it easier to think of it like a "good old carb/vac. dist" system - determine where you need less/more fuel and less/more spark. Then as I worked with it more, I started to realize that I could "go beyond" what I could ever do with a carb/vac. dist.

Just take "baby steps" first and work on one thing at a time without a MASS of changes. This way you can see how each change effected your car.

The biggest "gotcha" for people just getting into eprom burning is they make a ton of changes and don't make any notes on what they did in each BIN. Then when something "goes wrong", they aren't sure what really caused the problem.
