torque converter stall RPM effect on ECM?

Will I upset the ECM in my 91 Z28 L98 by changing to a higher stall torque converter (2000 rpm)? I suspect the main difference is that the new converter would not load down the engine at idle as much when dropped into gear. Can the ECM with stock programming deal with that, or am I asking for trouble/hunting idles/other issues?

thanks!

2000 rpm stall isn't a big jump from stock. The stock PROM should be fine, I ran a 2600rpm stall Vigilante and the only mods I made specifically for the converter were the TCC lockup speed...see below.

You'll notice the clutch lockup more, as the rpm will drop more when it engages because the higher stall speed (slippage) lets the engine rev higher under load.

You won't notice the stall speed at stationary idle, it will still pull the engine down when you drop it into gear.
