There's a minor error in what unzips from Craig's site, but it's an easy fix. IIRC, all you need to do is edit the batch file slightly, and change the target filename from ecm850.exe to ecm853.exe

(mistakes like that, it makes you wonder if Craig's had anything keeping him busy lately )

BTW ....the batch file doesn't reference ecm850.exe it calls ecm850.bas


after changing ecm850.bas to ecm853.bas I still can't get it to load...

"The system cannot execute the specified program"

Windows XP


EDIT:

You need to start a dos Session using command not cmd


now it works

no I am at work right now. But I can tell you that I have gotten 8.52 to connect. That's what I've been using untill now.

I normally operate on Windows 98, because the laptop I use for this stuff is older then my regular laptop which runs Windows XP.


Any idea where to get the 6e Hac?
