tps question

while I am at it is there any table in T.C. USING 6E D.F. FOR THE 165 ECM THAT I can use to lower the t.p.s.?I had to raise it to this level
(.85v?)to make car run proper(would code otherwise).Car ran fine until changing to 58mm t.b. from 52mm.And why did this happen?

The TPS and it's min are mechanical items, and nothing to do with the ecm or code.
Sounds like you have something wrong.
.85v seems awfully high.

If everything is right, you can drill holes in the butterflies to reduce the intial opeing amount, but you gotta be real careful doing that.

The big butterflies can be misleading. They can make you car feel faster to the buttometer when in fact the car has slowed down.

check your idle air counts ,if tb is opened to much at idle then
you would probable need the increased fuel from the tps adv.
I have a lean off idle bog w/my mini ram and doesnt really go away until i increase TPS voltage past .70 but when i do that
the car idles in cell block 1 and kinda high, but when i get it in cell block 0 then blm are 150-160's- i really want to start burning my own soon ,but cant seem to get a few simple questions answered by some of the more experienced burners
that will really help me on my way..
and ive read the intro.

anyway im sure you have but if you havnt check your idle air counts and make sure the IACM has some control of your idle
20 - 30 counts are good i think.
hope i helped some.
