Very wierd IAC after cam swap...

I just swapped my cam to a 196/206 @.050" .431/.451 roller. I noticed when driving (cold engine) the IAC is maxing out at 145. Also, when I'm cruising down the road at 45 mph (warm engine) the counts are way up at 80-90. They never used to go that high unless I was on the highway.

Anyone have any ideas?

It sounds like you need to open up the throttle blades a little to give your cam a little more air. That will drop your IAC counts. You are looking for about 30 counts at idle once the ECM settles down to closed loop. After that adjustment, recheck your TPS to see if its between .5 - .6 volts. If its above .6 volts, readjust it.

I have 19 counts at idle. That's what it used to be before the cam swap. It just like to max out when I hit the gas. I was thinking I could set the throttle follower to a lower value(?).

If you have 19 counts NOW at idle your good. If it is above 35 open up the butterflies and it will bring it down. I think it will lower it about 20 counts for every 1/2 turn you open it up. It's not instant, so open it up and drive it a little then check your counts. Then verify the TPS voltage.
