Grumpy, TRAXION - Whats your opinion on adjustable fuel pressure regulators for TPI's

What do you guys think about AFPR's for a 350 tpi? I'm running a stock FPR right now and I'm wondering what additional benefits I might see for upping the fuel pressure. I am planning on making one from a stock piece but I wanted to know if I would realize anything for the effort.

Oh, and yes I'm already tuning by burning my own chips. Also, gotta say "THANKS!!!" for all the information you guys post on here. Burning chips has been the biggest improvement I've done.:hail:

I believe in the benefits of higher fuel pressure (to a point). But, unless you have a different fuel pump, any higher than 50 psi tends to shorten the life of the fuel pump.

I "optimized" my eprom for 48 psi.

It's another tuning aid.
The more tuneable your system is the better you can tune it.

With a fairly stock set up thou there isn't alot it will help with. I perfer to use them when the injectors have been changed, and make an injector appear SMALLER. Trying to make an injector flow more thur pressure is something I stay away from. It's easier on all the components to run a slightly larger injector, then trying to get by on too small of one.

Thanks for the input. I guess I will give it a try. Just making sure it was worth the effort.
