Paging Craig Moates

As I was looking through the ARAP code, I found something that doesn't match up with the 165FORM.DAT file included with the Ver 8.5 release. In the Mode 1 data stream item 15 used to point to MPH (LSB). In ARAP (and APYP, the manual version) this now points to $0003, Mode Word 3 which has the following booleans:

; Mode Word 3
;
; b0
; b1 VATS OK
; b2
; b3 error 51, chksum
; b4
; b5 VATS AREADY PASSED
; b6 error 36, MAF Burn off (B/O) PASSED
; b7 KNOCK ENBLED BY DIFF COOL

Item 14 still points to the MPH high byte* at $0066 and MPH is still stored as 2 bytes at $0066-$0067, but in Mode 1 diagnostics the low byte is evidently replaced by that mode word from '88 on.****************************

Hmmm, maybe this is different than the datastream then compared to 86-87. I had assumed that the 86-87 was the same as 87-88, but there are differences I suppose. Hadn't gone into the 6E code to cross-check, but that's the right way to do it.

There's also a difference on some secondary MAT as well, did you see that?

I really should take a close look at the 6E code definition of the Mode-1 stream. I was going by other references...
