Where's the best place to go through the firewall?

I'm attempting to set up a fan on off switch in my TA. I *FINALLY* managed to find my fan relay. Someone reloacated it to the side of the radiator. And I got my switch and jumpered everything up to make sure it'd work, and my fan came on, the light in the switch came on, I'm happy.. 'cept now I can't find where to run the wires through the firewall. On the drivers side up under where my alarm was, there's a block, or like a grid with 1 wire in each spot. I can't figure out how to get this out of here. Is this even stock or something that was probably added when my alarm was installed? On the passanger side I see where the wiring for the ecm starts to go through behind the interior panel on the side, but can't figure out how to remove this panel so I can actually see something. Any help, or ideas are welcome, otherwise I might drill a really big hole

Im pretty sure there is a plug(unused hole plugged in black palstic) on the drivers side under the dash, at least there is one on my 88 GTA, find a plug, or break out the drill, just make sure you use a grommit so it doesnt rub on the metal and short out.
